Chart — visual indicators

The candlestick chart lets you overlay technical indicators TradingView-style. Open the chart from the main menu and use the Indicators… button (next to + − Fit) to manage the active ones.

Overlays — on the candles

They are drawn directly on top of the price chart, on the same scale. The Y range widens automatically to fit them in.

SMA ×3 Simple Moving Average — up to 3, period + color
Trend (EMA) Fast + slow EMA (trend crossover)
Bollinger Upper / Mid / Lower (SMA ± 2σ)
Donchian High/low channel of N bars
Keltner EMA ± 2·ATR channel

The channels (Bollinger / Donchian / Keltner) are drawn with the Upper and Lower bands solid and the Mid dashed, in their own color.

Oscillators and volume — separate pane

They are shown in their own pane below the candlestick chart, with their own Y scale and auto-fit to the visible range.

RSI Momentum 0…100 · automatic 30/70 lines
MACD Line + Signal + Histogram
Volume Histogram at the bottom, colored up/down

How to add an indicator

① Click Indicators in the chart's top bar — the side panel slides out.
② Tick the boxes you want (Moving averages, RSI, MACD, Trend, Bollinger, Donchian, Keltner, Volume) and set the period and color of each.
③ Click Apply — the chart updates instantly with whatever you turned on.

Live OHLC legend

As you move the cursor over the chart, the legend in the top left corner shows the bar under it: date, Open / High / Low / Close, the change and the volume. With no cursor, it shows the values of the last visible bar.

It remembers by itself

The indicators you set up are remembered between sessions: clicking Apply saves the configuration and, next time you open the chart, they are restored and drawn on their own (no need to reopen the panel).

See your trades on the chart

A backtester that does not show you where it traded leaves the trade list in one window and the chart in another, and the only way to put them together is to read a date and hunt it down manually. Not here.

In Performance, the «See on chart» button opens the chart with your trades drawn on the price.

▲ Green arrow

Below the bar: long entry.

▼ Red arrow

Above the bar: short entry.

● Circle

The exit, green or red depending on how it ended.

And from then on, the chart follows you

Every time you pick a row in the Trades tab —with the mouse or the arrow keys—, the chart jumps to that bar and highlights the trade in amber. If it falls outside the loaded stretch, it fetches it on its own: with one-minute series there are millions of bars and the chart never holds them all at once.

It opens on the same data Performance already had, so it appears instantly even if you are looking at eight million bars. That is also why it closes with Performance: shut that window and the chart goes with it.

This is how you discover that your strategy always enters late, or that its best trades all happened in the same month.
